Privacy policy

Wazzadoo! is made by CKT Ventures, LLC ("we"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the Wazzadoo app and wazzadoo.com, and what we do with it. The short version: you can browse without an account, we never ask for your child's name, birth date or school, and we don't sell your information.

Browsing as a guest

• You don't need an account to browse camps.
• The search choices you make (area, school calendar, age, categories, price) are used on your phone to show matching camps. They aren't saved to a profile.
• We don't ask for or store your precise location.
• Choosing a school calendar is optional, isn't linked to a child and is never shared with camps.

If you join the waitlist

We keep your email address, the area or ZIP code you choose, and which phone you use. We use them only to send one welcome email when you join, your beta invite, and word when Wazzadoo is available, never for marketing. These emails have no tracking pixels or tracked links. We don't ask for anything about your children. To be removed, email privacy@wazzadoo.com and we'll delete your details.

If you run a camp and contact us

When a camp sends us the sign-up form, we keep the business and contact details it gives us (camp name, website, contact name, email, optional phone, area and message) to set up and discuss its listing.

If you create an account

Accounts are coming soon. When they arrive, you'll sign in with Apple, Google, or a one-time code sent to your email (we never store a password). We'll keep what's needed to run your account: your email address, your family group and the caregivers you invite, saved camps, plans and alert settings. If you add your kids, we keep only an optional label you choose (not their name), the age you confirm, and their interests. We'll ask you to recheck ages every six months. Registration alerts are sent only if you turn them on. You'll be able to delete your account from the app at any time; deleting it removes your personal information and preferences.

Camp information

Camp details come from camps' public, official web pages and are checked by a person before they're shown. To help us read those pages, we may use an AI service. Only the public camp page is sent, never information about you or your family.

Payments

Wazzadoo Plus is purchased through Apple's App Store or Google Play, under their terms. Camps pay for business features through Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.

Measurement and error reports

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, and our fonts are hosted on our own site. If we add privacy-friendly visit counting to our marketing pages, we'll say so here. In the app, usage measurement will be opt-in only, and error reports are scrubbed of personal information. We don't record your screen.

Who we share with

We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for advertising. We use service providers to run Wazzadoo, such as database hosting (Supabase), website hosting (Vercel), email delivery (Resend, for sign-in codes, waitlist emails and the one email confirming an account deletion), app delivery and notifications, and payment processing (Stripe). They may handle information only to provide their service to us. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Children

Wazzadoo is for parents and caregivers. It isn't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Keeping and deleting information

We keep account information while your account is open and delete it when you delete your account, except where we must keep limited records by law (for example, billing records for camps). Guest searches aren't stored on our servers.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or turn off alerts and measurement at any time. Email privacy@wazzadoo.com.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above, and for important changes we'll tell you in the app.
